‘Salon des Amateurs’ was the meeting place for the ‘Amateur’ to consider what could be an ‘Amateur Society’. A giant wall diagram presented the possibilties of the amateur, whilst a volcanic pool with water at 33 degrees celsius as a metaphor for primordial birth offered a place for vistors to sit, float and think and discuss.
