Azymuth is a Brazilian jazz-funk group formed in 1973. The original lineup was a trio composed of José Roberto Bertrami ( keyboards ), Alex Malheiros ( bass, guitars ), and Ivan Conti ( drums, percussion ). [1] . Kiko Continentino joined the group in 2015 as the band's keyboardist after Bertrami's death.

Jose Roberto Bertrami. Brazilian Keyboardist José Roberto Bertrami formed the internationally renowned band Azymuth in 1971; the group also featured Alex Malheiros (bass) and Ivan Conte drums, and was sometimes joined in his percussion duties by Aleuda.
