Spyros Panagiotis Skouras (/ ˈ s k ʊər ə s /; Greek: Σπύρος Σκούρας; March 28, 1893 – August 16, 1971) was a Greek-American motion picture pioneer and film executive who was the president of 20th Century-Fox from 1942 to 1962. He resigned June 27, 1962, but was chairman of the company for several more years.

Charles, George, and Spyros Skouras all rose from an impoverished background to become top movie executives in Hollywood during the 20th century.

16 de jul. de 2019 · Spyros Panagiotis Skouras, who helped create 20th Century Fox and was the leader of a successful World War II foreign aid campaign, is considered one of the most influential Greek American immigrants of the 20th century. The collection expanded in 2017 from 86 boxes after the lost part of Skouras’ archive was found by his grandsons.
