  1. Doug Morter started his professional music career in 1968, with the formation of his first band, Hunter Muskett, after signing to Decca records, and later Bradleys Records. It was around this time that Doug first crossed paths with Chris Simpson, of Magna Carta.

  6. Doug Morter is an English guitarist, singer, songwriter and record producer. He learned guitar whilst at Plaistow Grammar School, early influences being Peter Green and Lightnin' Hopkins. His playing career began whilst a student at Avery Hill College and by the mid-70s he was in demand as a guitarist/vocalist on the bourgeoning folk-rock scene.
