31 de may. de 2022 · Bassist Kelen Capener – who has been with the band since 2007 – has announced that he is no longer a member of The Story So Far.
I believe Kelen Capener has been outspoken about how little bass contributes to the band and how small of a role he plays, so it’s very interesting that by his own admission it wasn’t his choice.
1 de jun. de 2022 · The Story So Far have apparently ousted bass player and co-founder Kelen Capener after roughly 15 years together. Though the band has yet to publicly address his exit, Capener issued the following statement this week:
Definitely seems like a mix of creative and personal differences. They turned his bass tracks down on a few songs in Proper Dose. Most notably 'Out of It'. The single release has that signature, aggressive Kelen tone, but the album is mixed to where the bass is lowered.
