Another Setting is the third studio album by English band The Durutti Column, released in August 1983.
Another Setting (1983) was again Reilly and Mitchell; in 1984, the band was expanded to include Richard Henry , Maunagh Fleming (cor anglais and oboe), Blaine Reininger (of Tuxedomoon; violin and viola), Mervyn Fletcher (saxophone), Caroline Lavelle (cello), and Tim Kellett (trumpet).
5 de jul. de 2010 · The Durutti Column is essentially Vini Reilly. I could talk at great lengths about how I feel Mr. Reilly must be a great man based simply on listening to his lengthy and impressive discography over the past year or so.
Vini Reilly was a brilliant musician and a true artist. I was so surprised to hear some of these pieces on "The Bear" series recently, so I guess his popularity is growing. Like the late Mark Hollis, it's a shame that the greater appreciation of his work is of no further use to him, personally.
