Abeokuta Grammar School is a secondary school in the city of Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. It is currently located at Idi-Aba area, of Abeokuta. Often called the first grammar school in Nigeria, it is attended by students from all parts of Nigeria, the West Coast of Africa, South Africa, Europe and even Asia .
The Abeokuta Girls’ Grammar School was founded for the purpose of training young girls in separate conducive and enabling environment that would be free from negative interference and distractions as they grow from childhood through puberty of adolescence.

Agsoba Ben Oludimu - Alagba John, added that it was sang by students of Abéòkúta Grammar School in 1947 to welcome members of the Elliot Commission on the creation of a tertiary institution for Nigeria, when they visited Abéòkúta to inspect the site of the proposed university.
