The Earls, often credited as Larry Chance and the Earls, is an American popular music group formed in The Bronx, New York. In a career spanning over 60 years they formed in the early 1960s, though their roots can be traced back to 1957 in a group called the High-Hatters.

Lead vocalist Larry Figueiredo changed his name to Larry Chance; he was joined by Bob Del Din, Eddie Harder, Larry Palumbo, and Jack Wray. They started recording for Rome in 1961. The group scored their lone hit in 1963 with "Remember Then" for Old Town.

The group was Chance, Bob Del Din, Eddie Harder, Larry Palombo and John Wray. In the fall of 1959 they were singing in front of a subway station when Johnny Powers, who had a fledging record label, Rome Records, heard them.
