Feridun Ahmed Bey (died 16 March 1583) was an influential Ottoman official, bureaucrat, author and military officer, best known for his service in the government of Grand Vizier Sokollu Mehmed Pasha (1565–1579).

The work was written by Feridun Ahmed Bey, who had served in the Szigetvár Campaign as the private secretary of Sokollu Mehmed Pasha, and it chronicles the events of the period 1558-1568 and features the author’s patron, the grand-vizier, in a prominent role.
After Ahmed's death, Ayşe married Feridun Ahmed Bey, who had served twice as the head scribe of the imperial chancery. The marriage took place on 7 April 1582. [12] Kizlar Agha Mehmed Agha, served as her agent, while Miralem Mahmud Agha served as Feridun Pasha's agent.

The Feridun Ahmed Bey Hamam (Greek: Χαμάμ του Φεριντούν Αχμέτ Μπέη, Turkish: Feridun Ahmed Bey Hamam) is an Ottoman bath which dates from 1571/72 and is located to the north of the Mehmed I Mosque in the central square of Didymoteicho, in northern Greece.
The Nüzhet-i Esrar, by Nişancı Feridun Bey, was completed on 1 January 1569. It has 305 folios and 14 miniatures. A part of it comprises the last campaign of Sultan Süleyman and the beginning of Sultan Selim’s reign.
