Denis "Piggy" D'Amour (September 24, 1959 – August 26, 2005) was a Canadian guitarist. He was a member of the heavy metal band Voivod from its inception in 1982 until his death in 2005. D'Amour's approach to music was anarchic and experimental rather than strict and theoretical.

Guitarist Denis D'Amour died at the age of 45 on August 26, 2005 due to complications from colon cancer. In July 2006 they released Katorz, based around riffs found on the laptop of D'Amour. Just prior to his death, he left instructions for his bandmates on how to use them.

Denis D’Amour. All Guitars, Laser Gun (1983-2005) Denis (aka Piggy) was a founding member of the band and has appeared in all of Voivod’s albums. He wrote most of the bands music. Denis was the main architect behind VOIVOD’s awesome sound and music.
