Between the 1980s and 1990s, architect Mario Botta and painter Enzo Cucchi turned a common utopia into reality, engaging their respective imaginations to construct and decorate the chapel on Monte Tamaro, Ticino, 1,600 meters above sea level.
The film is about two artists: one from the mountains, the Italian-Swiss architect Mario Botta who built a chapel, and the other, the painter: Enzo Cucchi, a man of the sea who painted the frescoes in the chapel, one of which is 70 meters long.
Documentario sulla costruzione della cappella sul Monte Tamaro a 1600 metri d’altitudine, ideata dall’architetto Mario Botta e affrescata da Enzo Cucchi.
