  1. 15 de jun. de 2015 · Memory Alpha also leans towards a connection between Star Trek and the NASA badge: In a form of fact emulating fiction (and vice-versa), the US Air Force Space Command badges have a delta arrowhead very similar to the 1960s-designed Enterprise insignia, while the 22nd century Starfleet insignia seems to be a deliberate synthesis between the TOS era pennant and the NASA logo.

  2. 20 de sept. de 2016 · In a show as expensive to make as Star Trek (and where any opportunity to save money would prove most ideal), the decision to ultimately change the titles seems unnecessary. Not that I'm complaining, I love the variation. It just seems curious that: A) Such a change was made and that B) They went back to yellow titling for Star Trek: TAS.

Enterprise Haynes Manual states that: In 2277 Starfleet recognized Enterprise's unique contribution to history by abolishing the separate emblems that had been used on different Starfleet ships and starbases and replacing them with the Enterprise's 'arrowhead' badge.

According to production work from the first season of TNG, no chevron indicated a regular crewmember, one chevron indicated a salesman, third class; two chevrons were worn by salesmen, second class and three chevrons (the third one wider than the regular two) would have indicated a salesman, first class, similar to an assistant manager.

The one item they brought out that bore no relation to Star Trek, was the "Official Star Trek Helmet", that has since become known as the Spock Helmet.

  10. Final Frontier is NOT the font used in the Original Series. It is a font that is based off the logo for the first Star Trek Motion Picture. Therefore, it did not exist prior to 1979, and certainly not in the mid-1960s when the Original Series aired. There are a wide variety of clones and fonts inspired by the Original Series Star Trek font.
