There are many good universities like Bath and St Andrew's which are not part of the Russell group. If research is what you are into, the Russell group is a good place to start. They are research-intensitive universities that get almost all Government funding for research. Many good universities have only just joined or are not a member of this group. The organisation became official in 2007.

  8. In general it is hard to imagine an economics degree without some higher level mathematical concepts. this is it. They don't ask for maths a-level as some kind of perverse exercise in having you jump through hoops but because their courses are designed presupposing that degree of mathematical background and capability.

  10. 30 de ago. de 2016 · I have fellow Russell Group law student friends who have visited lots of top firms and found no non RG/Oxbridge amongst the trainee intakes. If you scour the pages of the trainees on the firms websites/Linkedin you will see a similar pattern. Law firm campus ambassador roles are also only available at the traditional universities.
