A tech person at my company who (believe it or not) loves Apple recommended that I purchase a subscription to Clean My Mac X from MacPaw. CleanMyMac is NOT recommended in these forums due to the number of problems users have experienced when they have installed the software. Don't take my word for it, just click the search tab on the top of the page and enter "CleanMyMac".

So I haven't deleted Preferences (nor that I think I have set anything there). My file is very simple. A 7-minute interview is cut into 5-minute interview with 5-6 subtitles, backgrounds, and 2-3 very short audio files.

I know this is about iPhones, but what is true for Macs is likely also true for iPhones, so consider the following: I would not recommend CleanMyMac, based on the number of complaints that have been posted in this forum and elsewhere. As an example: CleanMyMac cleaned too much.
28 de ago. de 2020 · Thanks for the response. I see you're an expert and I'm just a dabbler. If I didn't have Clean My Mac, my computer would probably be bogged down since I am not very good at getting rid of the junk that apparently builds up in the box (hard drive). So, I'm reluctant to give up on what has been an easy help for a low level tech like me.

This will include CleanMyMac suggest reading the first 600 posting as to the damages this Specific Application can and will do.

15 de feb. de 2021 · Clean My Mac X I see a lot of topics on a program called Clean My Mac X. It seems to not have a lot of fans. My question is, if Clean My Mac X is so bad, why is it available in the Apple App Store? As far as I can tell, people either love it or hate it. Just wondering what the real deal is.
