25 de oct. de 2017 · Well, it's a remake of the original, very first PS2 Yakuza game. The word "Kiwami" means extreme, and it is used to denote a remake. You can safely play this over the original, as it features the exact same story, but with expanded scenes and content, and running on the Yakuza 0 engine. Next, you'll obviously want to play Yakuza Kiwami 2.
14 de ago. de 2023 · The game itself is legit great, imagine the old N64 wrestling games (or Def Jam Vendetta + FFNY) combat + Yakuza story and activities. That's literally what it is (same dev for the combat engine). And especially in the first game, Tatsuya is just a real jerk. Makes a different from the virtuous protagonists we got in every other game in the series.
14 de ene. de 2021 · If you take into account Yakuza 1 and 2 were remade because they were PS2 games which featured random battles and fixed cameras, and not a more seamless introduction to combat to make them in line with later games, Yakuza 3 is the first game in that style. That means it has none of the improvements any later entry offers.

7 de sept. de 2021 · Its a Xbox One (X) game. So it would never run at 60FPS on the original hardware. So no, it does not have a 60FPS mode. You would have to hope that the game gets a MS patch to up its FPS much like 6 got on the Xbox Series X. Nothing yet though, but Xbox has been rather quiet with these updates for the moment.
