Scream of the Shalka is a Flash-animated series based on the British science fiction television series Doctor Who. The series is the 40th anniversary special and was originally released in six weekly parts from 13 November to 18 December 2003 on bbc.co.uk's Doctor Who website.

Scream of the Shalka was a Flash-animated Doctor Who serial with Richard E Grant as the voice of the Ninth Doctor. Its animation was produced by Cosgrove Hall. The serial was webcast by the BBC 's official Doctor Who website in November and December 2003, tying in with the show's 40th anniversary.
The melancholic and aristocratic ninth incarnation of the Doctor was one of the few surviving Time Lords after the destruction of Gallifrey by an alien race. After the Time Lords retreated into the Matrix, they sent the Ninth Doctor and the Master, now in an android form, on dangerous missions...
