More than 560 seniors accepted their high school diplomas at Syosset High School’s 65th Annual Commencement ceremony held on June 21, 2023 at Hofstra University. Students marched into Hofstra’s David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex to “Pomp and Circumstance” played by members of the Syosset High School orchestra.
All students in Syosset High School are required to successfully complete four years of social studies for graduation - one in each grade, 9 through 12. In grades 9, 10, and 11 alternate paths are provided via Regents level and A.P. groupings. Placement is reviewed periodically, and students are reassigned when appropriate.
