Managed to get a win with the lost before unlocking the mantle once. Pre-repentance had the D4 as the starting item, and it rerolled a holy mantle for me. After unlocking the holy mantle, the D4 was completely useless cause using it would reroll your holy mantle too. Glad they replaced it with the eternal D6.
keep donating pennies to the greed machine after beating greed mode. Best to save as many coins as possible when running. 879 coins will be needed. Keep going anyway as the keeper is also unlocked for 1000. Believe donating with different characters not the same will lock the machine less easily by the way.
