Ottoline Morrell, geboren Ottoline Violet Anne Cavendish-Bentinck ( Tunbridge Wells, 16 juni 1873 - Londen, 21 april 1938 ), was een Britse aristocrate, een mecenas en een gastvrouw voor de (culturele) elite van haar tijd. Zij was een nicht van Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, de latere koningin en koningin-moeder van het Verenigd Koninkrijk.
Lady Ottoline Violet Anne Morrell (16 de junio de 1873 - 21 de abril de 1938) fue una aristócrata inglesa y anfitriona de sociedad. Su patrocinio influyó en los círculos artísticos e intelectuales, donde se hizo amiga de escritores como Aldous Huxley, Siegfried Sassoon, T. S. Eliot y D. H. Lady Ottoline Morrell, the chatelaine of Garsington Manor outside Oxford, was a ferocious socialite, friend and lover of artists and writers, including Augustus John, whom she first met in 1906 and with whom she had a brief affair in 1908. He began this portrait in 1918. When it was exhibited in 1920, most people were critical of it.
