They were made in 1989, while Scarpati was hospitalized, dying of pneumonia as a complication of AIDS.

  7. 12 de nov. de 2017 · Vittorio Scarpati (1955–1989) was an Italian artist, political cartoonist and jewellery designer. He met Mueller in Positano, Italy, in the summer of 1983. Three years later they married in New York City. Scarpati died on 14 September 1989. He was 34.
