Sid Vicious (született John Simon Ritchie; Lewisham, 1957. május 10. – New York, 1979. február 2.) angol zenész, a Sex Pistols punkegyüttes basszusgitárosaként vált ismertté. 2006-ban posztumusz bekerült a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-be a Sex Pistols tagjaként. 2009-ben egy felmérésen minden idők legvitatottabb zenészének szavazták meg.

Sid Vicious (10. maj 1957 London – 2. februar 1979 New York) var bassist i det britiske band Sex Pistols. Han havde et forhold til Nancy Spungen (en amerikansk groupie) i perioden op til hendes mystiske død 12. oktober 1978. Sid Vicious var mistænkt for at have dræbt hende og blev fængslet.

Životopis. Rođen je kao John Simon Ritchie. Umjetničko ime Sid Vicious navodno je uzeo nakon što ga je hrčak Sid ugrizao. Kad je basist Sex Pistolsa (Glen Matlock) napustio sastav, Johnny Rotten (frontmen Sex Pistolsa) sjetio se svoga školskog kolege Johna Ritchiea i pozvao ga je da bude njihov basist.
